SOUTH ATLANTIC ANOMALY: EARTH MAGNETIC FIELD IS WEAKENING.

So today we will talk about a recent topic that is very bad for our earth and let us start.

                                                 The behavior of our earth's geomagnetic field in an area between Africa and South America which is termed as  SOUTH ATLANTIC ANOMALY.

                                                                                          Earth's magnetic field is a day by day weakening in the area of Africa and South America. The scientist with the European Space Agency(ESA) which is also known as the geomagnetic on the magnetic field of earth this field can form the earth magnetosphere and spans tens of thousands of a kilometer into outer space.

                                               According to the ESA, "This strange behavior has geophysicist puzzled and is causing a technical disturbance in the satellite orbiting around the earth" which is being a high risk to earth and its satellite.

                                                      While focusing that the lives live in the earth is in a high risk from the magnetic field since it protects us from sun ultra-violet ray, ESA has claimed that the Geomagnetic field has lost around 9 percent of its strength across the planet over the last 200 years.

                                            The finding is consistent with recent studies asserting that the earth north magnetic pole is slowly moving toward Siberia.

                       The minimum field strength of the geomagnetic field in the said area is between 22,000 to 24,000 nano teslas in the period between 1970 to 2020. In fact, the area which is subject to the south Atlantic anomaly has also expanded and shifted westward at a pace of around 20 kilometers per year.  


#My Opinion-"While this Anomaly is giving scientist more to learn about earth interior it is also fueling speculating that this weakening of the geomagnetic field is a sign that the planet could be headed for a pole reversal. A phenomena that take place once every 25,000 years,this is when the earth's north and south magnetic poles which places."
